Pender County to Host Property Revaluation Workshops This Month
The Pender County Tax Office will hold two public workshops this month to address questions about the 2026 countywide property revaluation. The sessions will cover what the revaluation entails, how property values are determined, and the process for appealing an assessed value.
The first workshop is scheduled for March 23 at 6 p.m. at the Maple Hill Community Center, 4840 NC Hwy 50, Maple Hill. A second session will take place March 24 at 6 p.m. at the Rocky Point Community Center, 17808 NC Hwy 210, Rocky Point.
Tax office staff will also be available at both events to assist residents with property tax exemption applications. Residents who believe they may qualify are asked to bring a copy of their 2025 income documentation.
According to the county, value change notices will be mailed later this month, with delivery expected as early as April. Additional information is available on the Pender County website at pendercountync.gov.
